Since 1962, Wyoming Valley Sanitary Authority (WVSA) has provided wastewater services to the residents of the county of Luzerne with a service area that covers 35 municipalities from Newport Township to Pittston and Harvey’s lake; now serving about 95,000 units, approximately 250 residents, in the area. Much of its funding comes from the environmental protection agency funds. Its aim is to provide high quality, cost effective and environmentally friendly treatment of wastewater from homes, businesses, schools and industries as well as storm and ground water.
Several Wyoming Valley Sanitary Authority bill pay options are available for the customers to choose from. WVSA no longer accepts any cash payments. Check, credit card and money order payments are however accepted.
Pay online: you can make master card or discover credit cards to pay your bill (Visa cards aren’t accepted). This service is provided at a small convenience fee. To use this convenient service,
- Click on ‘sewer payments’ on the right side of the page. This will direct you to the EB2Gov website.
- Click on the ‘sewer payments’ icon and select the number of accounts you wish to pay for.
- Enter your account number, payment amount and other details then add to cart. For multiple payments, enter all the account numbers and their payment amounts, clicking on ‘add additional account payment’ to add new accounts and when you are through adding accounts, click on ‘add to cart’.
- Enter your payment information and submit.
Pay in person: bill payments can be made at the WVSA main office located at 1000 Wilkes-Barre Street in Wilkes-Barre or at the satellite offices at the addresses listed below using credit cards, check or money order:

Pay at drop box: there is a drop box located outside Nanticoke city hall on 15 East Ridge Street, Nanticoke where you can drop off your payment this Wyoming Valley Sanitary Authority bill pay option allows you to submit your payment even after the official working hours have passed.
