JEA Bill Pay

jea-logo-2012JEA is a provider of electric, water and sewer services, located in Jacksonville. It is a non-profit, community owned utility company created to serve the residents of Jacksonville, Florida and the surrounding areas providing services to approximately 427,000 electric customers, and 553,000 water and sewer customers. It provides the utilities to residential, commercial and wholesale customers. The company strives to meet the needs of its customers while at the same time trying to ensure that the natural resources are protected.

Several JEA Bill pay options are available from which customers can choose the options that best suit their schedule.

Payment options

Payment locations: The JEA bills can be paid at the authorized payment locations using cash, check, money order, credit card and debit card. Not all these payment modes are accepted at all the payment locations. You can find out which mode are accepted at each location from the JEA website payment locations page (https://www.jea.com/paymentlocations/)
Pay Your Bill Online: You can conveniently and securely pay your JEA bill online for free. At the JEA website, you can pay online from your bank account and you will need to provide your bank account number and your bank’s routing information.

For credit and debit card payments, you can use Bill2Pay, a third-party vendor, at a service charge of $4.95 for transactions of less than $400. To pay your bill online, you will be required to log in to your JEA online account first.

Login JEA

  • Log in with your username and password.
  • Register for an online account, click on the ‘register for a free jea.com account’ option and fill out the registration form displayed. You’ll need your account number and email address to register.

Registration JEA

  • Click on the ‘pay my bill’ link.
  • Select your method of payment
  • Provide your payment information and save it so that you won’t have to reenter them next time you make a payment. Submit your payment.

You can also schedule a JEA payment to be paid from your bank account up to 90 days in advance through the pay by bank account option or use the AutoPay option which allows payments to be deducted automatically from your savings or checking bank account. To enroll, click on the automatic bill payment option and provide the required information.
Pay by phone: you can pay your bill with a credit card, checking or savings account by calling (904) 665-6000

 

Pay by mail: send your check or money order, including your JEA account number to: JEA, P.O. Box 45047, Jacksonville, FL 32232-5047.

 

Pay at the JEA Office: visit the customer care center to pay your bill in person.
